The starting grid for races 1 and 3 is based on the best times set in qualifying practice 1 and 2. The starting grid for race 2 is based on the classification of race 1 with the first 4 rows reversed. The starting grid for race 4 is based on the classification of race 3 with the first 4 rows reversed.
GYMKHANA Event
As well as the races, come and enjoy the famous Gymkhana. This is an event in which the drivers of the French Truck Championship demonstrate the flexibility and precision of their driving. The Gymkhana is timed on the circuit's main straight. The rule is simple: drive your 5.4-tonne colossus between a series of closely spaced cones, without touching a single one, in record time. If the driver touches a pin, a time penalty is added to the final time. Penalties can be added together. In this test of skill, it's really the driver who makes the difference.
MECHANIC EVENT
Working behind the scenes, mechanics work all year round, and during the Grand Prix, they work non-stop to ensure that the truck performs as well as possible. The mechanics' challenge will give you an insight into their expertise. The challenge: dismantle and reassemble a wheel on the truck in as little time as possible. At the starting line, they have to run to their truck, dismantle the wheel they have previously determined, then cross the width of the track while rolling the tyre around a cone, before returning to the truck. The wheel must then be reassembled and the nuts tightened.

ECO-FRIENDLY COMMITMENTS
The FFSA French Truck Championship confirms its commitment to an eco-responsible approach. With a view to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, the whole world of motor sport is committed to a policy of sustainable development. To this end, the FFSA and the FFM, in partnership with the French Ministry of Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, presented the first ‘Environmental Barometer’ of motor sport in the second half of 2022. Aware of these challenges, the actors of the FFSA French Truck Championship, under the impulse of the promoter FranceRoutes, affirm their commitment in this eco-responsible approach to perpetuate their activities and meet tomorrow's expectations. To this end, a charter comprising 9 major actions has been drawn up. This approach is a continuation of the eco-responsible event charter initiated by the Circuit Paul Ricard and signed by the promoter at the first meeting in April 2022. By committing to this approach, the Trucks discipline is positioning itself at the forefront of the drive towards carbon neutrality. |
